Beach Volleyball

Spring Training  I  Beach Academy  I  Lessons

Vitae Volleyball offers beach volleyball programs for athletes of all ages and skill levels in Grand Haven, Michigan. With so many beautiful beaches dotting our coastline, unique training and competing opportunities exist that rival volleyball powerhouses like California and Florida. Our goal is to grow the game in West Michigan and to create a community of athletes who empower each other, influence their peers through positivity & celebrate the success of others

What to Bring

This is not an exhaustive list and not all items are necessary. Bring anything you think you'll need to have a productive practice, such as:  water, electrolytes, beach towel, sunglasses, hat or visor, head band, hair ties, sunscreen, sand socks, healthy snacks (i.e. granola bars, meat sticks, cheese, etc.), extra clothing, stretch bands, flip-flops or sandals.

What to Wear

You should wear whatever you feel most comfortable competing in! Female athletes typically wear a swim suit or spandex and a t-shirt or tank top. Male athletes typically wear a swim suit or board shorts and a t-shirt or tank top. Remember, the weather changes rapidly; we recommend that you bring extra clothing or dress in layers as a precaution!

Inclement Weather Policy

While beach volleyball is played in all sorts of conditions, we may be forced to reschedule training due to lightning, strong winds, heavy rain, or other adverse weather events. Make-up dates have been set aside for instances like this and are noted within each booking option listed on the Beach Academy page. We will notify you via our Facebook page about any rescheduling that occurs. Private, team & group lessons will be rescheduled directly with the person that originally booked the appointment.
